Privacy Policy
How the Kolażownik app processes your data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Kandyb Studio, contact: hello@kandyb-studio.eu.
2. What data we collect
The app does not require an account or sign-in.
- The application does not collect personal data and does not require an account
- Uploaded photos are processed exclusively locally in the browser and are neither sent nor stored
- In the public version with ads: cookies/advertising identifiers set by the ad provider (Google) — only with user consent
Your data stays locally on your device, except in the cases described below.
3. Who we share data with
- Google AdSense (USA (SCC)) — displaying ads (free model with ads).
- Hosting kandyb-studio.eu (EU) — serving static application files; standard server logs (IP address, browser type).
We do not sell your data. Each subprocessor processes data only to the extent necessary for the app to work.
4. Advertising
The app shows ads. A third-party SDK may read the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS — with your consent via App Tracking Transparency; GAID on Android — opt-out available in Google settings).
5. Data retention
The application does not store photos or personal data — photos exist only in the browser's memory during the session and disappear when the tab is closed. Exported files are saved locally on the user's device. Advertising cookies are retained in accordance with Google's policy and the user's choice in the consent banner. Standard hosting server logs are usually retained for up to 30 days.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your data/account see Data / account deletion.
7. Children
The application is not directed to children.
8. Additional information
Key privacy feature: all collage generation and rendering takes place on the client side (in the browser). User photos are never sent to a server. Ads (Google AdSense) apply to the public, free web version; for EU/EEA users, consent for cookies and personalized ads is collected via a consent banner (CMP) compliant with Google's requirements.
