Privacy Policy
How the Dobranoc app processes your data.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Kandyb Studio, contact: hello@kandyb-studio.eu.
2. What data we collect
The app does not require an account or sign-in.
- No personally identifiable data — the app does not require an account or login
- Local on-device data: favorites, playback progress, downloaded (cached) stories, theme selection, ambient mixer settings, premium status
- Anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics): events such as app open, playback start/end, paywall view, purchase/restore — without name, email, or content
- Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics): app error/crash reports
- Subscription data managed by RevenueCat with an anonymous app identifier (no personal data)
3. Who we share data with
- Apple App Store (StoreKit) (USA / globally) — payment and subscription processing.
- RevenueCat (USA (SCC)) — subscription and entitlement management (anonymous ID).
- Google Firebase Analytics (USA (SCC)) — anonymous usage analytics.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics (USA (SCC)) — crash reports / diagnostics.
- Google Firebase Storage (USA (SCC)) — hosting and downloading premium audio files.
We do not sell your data. Each subprocessor processes data only to the extent necessary for the app to work.
4. Advertising
The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising identifier.
5. Data retention
Local data (favorites, progress, audio cache, settings) remains on the device until cleared in the app or uninstalled. Anonymous analytics data and crash reports are stored according to Google Firebase policies (typically up to approx. 14 months for analytic events). Subscription data is stored by RevenueCat/Apple for purchase processing purposes.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your data/account see Data / account deletion.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children. General content (age rating 4+), but the product is designed for adults having trouble falling asleep. It does not knowingly collect children's data.
8. Additional information
The app does not require registration or providing any personal data to function. It does not collect contacts, location, microphone, photos, or health data. The IDFA identifier is not used, no advertising tracking (App Tracking Transparency is not needed). Premium audio files are downloaded from Firebase Storage and cached locally for offline playback.
